Police tracked a subject believed to be Travis Decker, 39, after a weeklong manhunt. Decker is accused of killing his three daughters — Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8 and Olivia, 5 — whose bodies were found at a Washington campsite on June 2.
Decker’s three daughters were reported missing by their mother on the night of May 30 after they failed to return home from a scheduled visit with Decker. On Monday, a Chelan County deputy discovered the bodies of the girls, which were about 75 to 100 yards past their father’s unoccupied truck near the campground.
The search for Travis Decker, a former U.S. Army soldier accused of killing his three young daughters in Washington state, is in its second week as the Washington National Guard has been deployed to aid law enforcement officers continuing to comb the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Crest Trail region.
