INDIANAPOLIS — Monday marks the beginning of a new school year for Indianapolis Public Schools students, and district leaders want to make sure kids are ready to return to class.

Police say the suspect was arrested for raping a woman at a hotel before discovering he'd traveled from Chicago to Evansville to steal a backhoe from a Home Depot.
