A 20-year-old American was allegedly beaten to death by Israeli settlers while visiting family in the West Bank, according to Palestinian health officials and his family.

U.S. citizen Sayafollah Musallet, 20, also known as Saif, was severely beaten in the incident on Friday evening in Sinjil, north of Ramallah, the ministry said. Hussein Al-Shalabi, 23 was shot in the chest.

Two Palestinians were killed and at least 40 others were injured on Friday in a settler attack on the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
