NJ fire updates: Ocean Township man charged with arson in Jones Road wildfire
Joseph Kling, 19, was charged with aggravated arson and arson in connection with the wildfire that started in Waretown on Tuesday, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette and Ocean Township Chief of Police Michal Rogalski said.
The Jones Road Wildfire in Ocean County, N.J. is now believed to be a case of arson started by a bonfire, authorities say.
Kling was accused of starting the Jones Road Wildfire in Ocean County, New Jersey, which has burned around 15,000 acres.
