Ace Bailey's NBA career got off to a rocky start, and not just on the court. The Rutgers product turned plenty of heads when he declined to work out for multiple lottery teams, and his expression when the Utah Jazz drafted him said a thousand words.

The Utah Jazz were able to get a first glance at their fifth-overall pick in Ace Bailey during their debut summer league matchup vs. the Philadelphia 76ers, one that resulted in a narrow 93-89 victory for the Jazz to let the rookie start things off on the right foot.

Flagg's arrival has been the talk of Summer League. The 6-foot-8 Wooden Award winner, 18, will be joined on Dallas' offseason roster by two-way rookie point guard Ryan Nembhard and two-way shooting guard Miles Kelly, 2024-25 Mavericks rookie, and 7-foot-5 Texas Legends center Jamarion Sharp.

With summer in full swing, attention turns to the NBA 2K26 Summer League, which will begin in Salt Lake City and San Francisco (California Classic) on Saturday before heading to Las Vegas on July 10.
