Ole Miss baseball pitcher Mason Morris is getting a chance to play in the pros. The Cincinnati Reds selected Morris in the third round of the 2025 MLB Draft with the 83rd overall pick on July 13.

Cincinnati Reds third-round draft pick Mason Morris, out of Ole Miss, was Baseball America's 99th-ranked player in the draft.

There was a sliver of a chance Ole Miss would get Mason Morris back in a uniform come February but that was dashed on Sunday in the first day of the 2025 MLB Draft. Morris was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the third round as the 83rd overall pick.
