Secretary of State Marco Rubio said "both sides are going to have to make concessions" to end Russia's war in Ukraine.
Rubio laid responsibility on both Russia and Ukraine for refusing to make enough concessions for a ceasefire. “Both sides are going to have to give up something in order to get to the table, in order to make this happen. That’s — that’s just the way it is,” Rubio said.
During multiple press interviews on Sunday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio touted alleged progress at President Donald Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, while offering few specifics to back up his claims.
"Every single sanction that was in place on the day he took over remain. And every – the impact of all those sanctions remain,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said at a press meet.
