Lawyers for British nurse Lucy Letby on Tuesday launched a new bid to overthrow her conviction for killing seven babies, after a group of international medical experts who reexamined evidence used at her trial concluded none had actually been murdered.

How lawyers for the nurse currently serving 15 life sentences for the murder of seven babies will try to overturn her convictions.

During a press conference in London, Dr. Shoo Lee, a retired Canadian neonatologist who chaired an international panel of 14 medical experts, said the group found “significant new evidence” that Letby did not harm any babies in her care, the BBC reports.
