In the loss, Karl-Anthony Towns scored only 10 points on five-of-11 shooting from the floor, missing all of his shots from deep. While Towns was solid in the Minnesota Timberwolves' run to the Conference Finals last year, he has a much longer track record of being underwhelming in the playoffs.

Outside of Jalen Brunson's 37 points, which came on 12-of-27 shooting, no other Knicks player was able to surpass 20 points scored. Evidently, New York needs more than 94 points scored, especially considering their identity on that end around Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns,
