NVIDIA to resume selling H20 AI chips in China

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent implied during an interview with Bloomberg Television on Tuesday that the US approved Nvidia’s H20 sales to China because Huawei can already make equivalent chips.
In April 2025, the U.S. expanded restrictions to include the Nvidia H20 chip, a China-specific version designed to comply with earlier export rules.
One analyst boosted his price target on Nvidia’s stock to a level that would imply a $5.7 trillion market cap, with the chip maker seemingly cleared to sell its H20 chip in China again.
