USA TODAY College Sports Wire on MSNWill Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore be suspended for the Wisconsin game?
The NCAA released its final ruling on the high-profile Michigan sign-stealing scandal on Friday. The Wolverines ' punishments include significant fines, show causes for former head coach Jim Harbaugh, current head coach Sherrone Moore and analyst Connor Stalions, and an extra game added to Moore's already-existing self-imposed two-game suspension.
Sherrone Moore will be suspended for two games in the 2025 season, but it won't be against New Mexico or Oklahoma.
Before beating Washington in the CFP National Championship game, Michigan beat Alabama in the CFP semifinal at the Rose Bowl 27-20 in overtime. An errant snap by former Crimson Tide center Seth McLaughlin allowed the Wolverines to stop Alabama on a fourth-and-goal Jalen Milroe run play at the 3-yard line to secure the win.
