Amidst his offseason holdout, Trey Hendrickson and the Cincinnati Bengals continue to be in communication about a new contract, but very little progress has been made.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport: "The Bengals sometimes function differently, a little slower ... but they do want to keep (Hendrickson) and do a deal."

Ian Rapoport says Hendrickson proved a point by going quiet, and that point was received. He also said the Cincinnati Bengals and the league’s defending sack leader have been in communication since the draft.
