Chicago White Sox slugger Luis Robert Jr. was being evaluated after he was hit by a pitch in his return to the lineup after missing two games because of right adductor tightness.

Last season, when the Chicago White Sox were on track to break a record for being the worst team in MLB history, Luis Robert Jr trade rumors suggested a big shakeup was coming. Yet, despite plenty of interest, the White Sox decided to hang onto their All-Star centerfielder.

After returning from a brief two-game absence, Robert was hit with a pitch Sunday, adding another malady to the list in the run-up to the trade deadline.
