Motocross prodigy Aidan Zingg died Saturday at age 16 from injuries sustained during a race at the Mammoth Mountain MX event.

Aidan Zingg was competing in the Mammoth Mountain MX event in California over the weekend when he crashed during his 250 B class heat.

WASHINGTON — Aidan Zingg, a rising motocross star, has died following a mid-race crash over the weekend. He was 16. The motocross prodigy was competing in the 2025 Mammoth Motocross event in Mammoth Lakes, California on Saturday. According to motocross journalist Donn Maeda, Zingg suffered fatal injuries at the event.
