Saudi Arabia’s mediation of high-stakes negotiations promises to revive a relationship the president and crown prince cultivated during Trump’s first term.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday he plans to visit Saudi Arabia as early as May to sign an investment agreement in what will be the first foreign trip of his second term, with stops also planned in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

The president’s dinner with golfing leaders, hosted at his club, comes as the global economic order reels from Trump’s tariffs announcement.

Trump has appeared at two of the three LIV events at Doral and participated in the Pro-Am. This would be his first appearance as president.
