A Georgia Powerball player was one number shy of the estimated $309 million jackpot — but still netted a life-changing prize. The lucky player won $1 million after matching five white ball numbers but not the Powerball in the drawing Monday, July 21, per the Georgia Lottery’s website.

Two winning $1 million Powerball tickets were sold in Massachusetts for Wednesday‘s drawing for a $217 million jackpot. The winning numbers for the drawing were 5, 9, 25, 28, 69 and Powerball: 5. One of the winning tickets, which matched the first five numbers, was sold at a Market Basket grocery store located at 130 Water St. in Fitchburg.
