Paul Corcoran won two separate $1 million Powerball jackpots in under a week, the Massachusetts Lottery announced.

Powerball jackpot reaches $248 million after no winners on July 12, one Ohio winner got $50,000. A $2 million winner emerged in Wisconsin, and a $1 million prize was claimed in Texas. The next draw offers a cash option of $112.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot (five numbers plus the Powerball) are 1 in 292.2 million. The chances of taking home the Match 5 prize is 1 in 11.68 million, while the four numbers plus the Powerball has odds of 1 in 913,129.18.

A new study revealed the U.S. states that have the highest chances of winning the Powerball — and sadly, none of the tri-state area was included in the top five.

Two winning $1 million Powerball tickets were sold in Massachusetts for Wednesday‘s drawing for a $217 million jackpot. The winning numbers for the drawing were 5, 9, 25, 28, 69 and Powerball: 5. One of the winning tickets, which matched the first five numbers, was sold at a Market Basket grocery store located at 130 Water St. in Fitchburg.
