Nobody onboard survived after a small airplane crashed near a North Carolina airport Friday morning. The plane crashed on a business’ property near the Pitt-Greenville Airport around 7:50 a.m., North Carolina State Highway Patrol said.

Greenville Police Department said on X that it is working with the fire service to provide "scene control of a private plane crash in the area of N. Memorial Dr and Belvoir Road.
