Severe storms are possible later in the day, with a Level 4 enhanced risk in west central Minnesota and a Level 2 slight risk in the Twin Cities metro.
NWS meteorologist Melissa Dye said severe thunderstorms will most likely take place after 7 p.m., but that the weather is currently a “fluid situation.”
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook July 28 for Sherburne, Stearns and Benton County. Minneapolis also included.
