RALEIGH, N.C. -- Sam Reinhart sustained a lower-body injury for the Florida Panthers in a 5-0 win against the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final at Lenovo Center on Thursday. "We'll get him looked at tomorrow," Panthers coach Paul Maurice said. "So, Saturday I'll have something (an update) for you."

Panthers star Sam Reinhart left Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final with an injury. He will not return to the game.

Game 2 also left Florida with an injury concern after forward Sam Reinhart exited in the first period and did not return. Reinhart, who led the team in scoring during the regular season with 81 points in 79 games, suffered a lower-body injury after taking a hit from Carolina’s Sebastian Aho near the blue line.
