There was no president. There was no comedian. What remained at the White House Correspondents' Association's annual dinner were the journalists and the First Amendment.

The 2025 dinner will not have its traditional headlining comedian as the association removed Amber Ruffin in March following critical Trump comments.

The event will recognize the achievements of journalists and raise funds for the White House Correspondents Association's First Amendment scholarships.
