Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will release the New Game Plus mode for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii as free downloadable content after facing controversy over charging for it in previous game Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Yesterday saw the hosting of a brand-new Like a Dragon Direct, a broadcast that specifically honed in on Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and put a grand emphasis on its combat and customisation.

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will feature a New Game Plus option, and this time, you won't have to pay for it. This was confirmed in the Like a Dragon Direct presentation uploaded to Sega's official YouTube channel.

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii players won't need to purchase the most expensive version of the game to gain access to New Game Plus.
