Residents of Omaha and Council Bluffs joined together on both sides of the Missouri River Saturday as part of a nationwide protest of the policies of President Donald Trump.
The No Kings movement is an effort to support democracy and speak out against what they call 'the authoritarian' actions of the Trump administration.
The largely peaceful protests during the "No Kings Day" demonstration in downtown Los Angeles took an intense turn in the afternoon. Police ordered the crowd to disperse at about 4:15 p.m. PDT near Alameda Street and Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division.
