The NFL dropped its full 2025 schedule last night, and for Miami Dolphins fans, it was worth the wait. From high-octane quarterback battles to a historic international trip, the Dolphins are set to embark on one of the most intriguing and challenging seasons in recent memory.
The Miami Dolphins begin the 2025 season on Sunday, Sept. 7 at the Indianapolis Colts. Here's everything to know about their schedule.
The Dolphins also announced their opponents for the 2025 preseason schedule. Miami will travel to Chicago for Preseason Week 1 and to Detroit for Preseason Week 2. The Dolphins will close the preseason the following week as they host the Jacksonville Jaguars at Hard Rock Stadium.
The Cincinnati Bengals won't be playing the Miami Dolphins in Madrid, according to a report by Spanish sports news outlet as.com. The report from Jaime Dávila says the Dolphins will be playing the Washington Commanders on Nov. 16.
The bad news is the Dolphins play five of their first eight games on the road — at Indianapolis in the opener (Sept. 7), at Buffalo (Sept. 18), at Carolina (Oct. 5), at Cleveland (Oct. 19), and at Atlanta (Oct. 26). If the trend holds, the Dolphins will go 2-3 in those five road games.
The NFL schedule will be announced at 8 p.m. Wednesday, and as usual, there are plenty of leaks. Among the Wednesday leaks involving the Dolphins: Miami is slated for six nationally televised games, including five in prime time, according to Jason Sarney and Fins Extra.
