The New York Jets made headlines this past week with the announcement that veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers would not return to the team in 2025. Rodgers will leave the organization after winning five games over two years.

So what happened? Pearce’s production dipped slightly in 2024. He recorded 13 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks after putting up 15 and 10 in those categories, respectively, back in 2023. But more than that, Kiper said, his junior season tape just wasn’t as impressive as many expected it to be.
