Ichiro was just a single vote shy of being unanimously inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He becomes the first player born in Japan to be inducted.

The late Reds outfielder and Cincinnati native Dave Parker was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday. His son, Dave Parker II, accepted the induction on his behalf.
