In one of the most controversial trades in NBA history, the Los Angeles Lakers acquired Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks in a blockbuster three-team deal finalized in early February. The Lakers received Doncic, Maxi Kleber, and Markieff Morris, while the Mavericks obtained Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a 2029 first-round pick.
