The McLaren driver has arrived at the Red Bull Ring off the back of colliding with teammate and championship rival Oscar Piastri in Canada. The crash, which Norris took full responsibility for, knocked him out of the grand prix and leaves him 22 points behind Piastri in the standings as we near the halfway point of the season.

However, Max Verstappen remains a formidable threat at Red Bull’s home circuit, having won the most races and secured the most poles there. Mercedes, fresh off George Russell’s victory in Canada, is also a strong contender.

McLaren F1 star Lando Norris will have his MCL39 checked by stewards as part of an FIA summons ahead of this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix. The Brit's car has been randomly selected for the car display procedure, with Fernando Alonso 's Aston Martin and the Mercedes of Kimi Antonelli also summoned.
