After driving the Cardinals down the field on Arizona's first possession, Murray was intercepted on a pass that was practically telegraphed to Chiefs defender Jaden Hicks - who appeared to drop from covering Trey McBride to swooping underneath and not having to do much on the play:

Chiefs safety Jaden Hicks also baited the throw. Hicks made it look like he was coming back down to cover Trey McBride, who was closer to the line of scrimmage and at the sideline, leading Murray to believe that he could just drop the throw in over the top to get to Marvin Harrison Jr.

For Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, playing in the preseason hasn't been a thing for a while. In the preseason opener Saturday night at State Farm Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs, that changes. The Cardinals' starters will play, including Murray.
