Analysts say Coinbase's partnership with JPMorgan Chase is a win for crypto adoption. The move highlights the banking sector's changing attitude towards digital assets.

JPMorgan Chase and Coinbase said they’re aiming to make buying crypto “easier than ever” by offering a “direct bank-to-wallet connection” to Coinbase accounts for Chase Ultimate Rewards points, starting next year. Coinbase account holders will also be able to fund their accounts with Chase credit cards starting this fall.

Zaheer Ebtikar of crypto VC Split Capital hailed the Coinbase partnership, adding that it will remove the blurry lines between the sector and TradFi. “The lines between crypto and traditional finance are no longer blurry. They just don’t exist anymore.”
