The Los Angeles Lakers' fanbase understood the move, in concept. On Sunday night, the Lakers waived guard Jordan Goodwin, who had been a fan favorite. The decision had to be made to clear salary space for Marcus Smart, who is expected to be signed once he clears waivers following his buyout from the Wizards.
Jemison only appeared in 22 games for the Lakers and averaged just 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.3 minutes. The Alabama native has already played for four teams in his two-year NBA career, and it seems like that trend will only continue after getting waived by the Lakers.
