President Donald Trump is threatening to hold up a new stadium deal for Washington’s NFL team if it does not restore its old name of the Redskins, which was considered offensive to Native Americans.

"The Washington 'Whatever's' should immediately change their name back to the Washington Redskins Football Team," Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.

“We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘He got in’,” she said. “And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here.’”

Social media users also said the Supreme Court 's 2024 ruling that former presidents had broad immunity from criminal prosecutions for official acts would protect Obama.
