E A's DICE studio has blown the lid off the multiplayer for its upcoming military shooter Battlefield 6, and you can join the fray today. Battlefield 6's first public beta is live right now for everyone and will be available on two consecutive weekends. It's not too late to join in, and here's how.

Twitter user ProRebornYT pointed out yesterday that the main reason for performance issues on PC is actually all to do with the EA Overlay. For whatever reason, turning the Overlay off (which you can do in the settings menu but clearly shouldn't) causes the game to only use 50 percent of its GPU.
