A fictional studio head has broken the Emmy record. Apple TV+ continues its awards season dominance as its freshman comedy series “The Studio” shattered records Tuesday, receiving 23 Emmy nominations — the most ever for a comedy series in its first season.
Martin Scorsese and Ron Howard received their first ever acting Emmy nominations on Tuesday for their appearances in Apple TV+’s The Studio. The two were nominated in the best guest actor in a comedy series category alongside The Studio c ostars Dave Franco Bryan Cranston and Anthony Mackie, as well as The Bear ‘s Jon Bernthal.
The Studio' earned a whopping 23 nominations at the 2025 Emmy Awards and among them was Ron Howard's first-ever nod for acting.
