The Chicago White Sox took advantage of some Texas Rangers miscues in the sixth inning to rally for a 10-5 win Saturday. They’ll go for the sweep Sunday.

The Chicago White Sox are getting two veterans back in their lineup. To make room for them on the roster, they sent a fan favorite back down to Class AAA Charlotte.

Vaughn was batting only .189, while Elko had only five hits in his first 32 plate appearances as a major-leaguer. The Sox won their first game without the two — a 4-1 victory over the Rangers on Friday night at Rate Field.

CHICAGO — The Chicago White Sox optioned struggling first baseman Andrew Vaughn to Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.
