Alexis Tovar, age 31, has not been seen since she left her mother's house in Nampa around 10 a.m. Monday, July 28.

Nampa police have started a missing-person investigation and those close to the woman have turned to the public for help.

Her daughter, Alexis Tovar, said she has confidence in the prosecutors to bring her family justice. “I choose to focus on my faith and pray and leave everything into God’s hands,” Tovar said.

Jesus Neri-Aguilar faces 92 months in prison after fatally stabbing Juan Jose Balleza-Ojeda, 26, and injuring Alexis Tovar-Estrada, 28, during a heated argument in November 2023.
