As Rite Aid solicits bids for its pharmacy assets during the bankruptcy process, customer attrition could significantly diminish their value.

Rite Aid says a few months for most of its stores. All locations will eventually close or be sold to a new owner. Until then, customers will still be able to fill prescriptions, get immunizations and shop in the stores or online.

The Rite Aid in Quarryville is among the stores the struggling drugstore chain plans to close immediately as part of its latest bankruptcy reorganization.
