The jury will hear the first full day of testimony on Wednesday in the murder trial of a Colorado dentist. James "Jim" Craig is accused of poisoning his wife, Angela. Prosecutors say he gave her protein shakes laced with cyanide and other deadly chemicals.

In a probable cause affidavit previously obtained by PEOPLE, Craig allegedly began plotting his wife’s murder in February 2023, when investigators claimed he purchased arsenic online and searched “how many grams of pure arsenic will kill a human” and “Is Arsenic Detectable in Autopsy?"
