The New York Jets have interviewed another former NFL head coach for their vacant job in their effort to find a new bench boss. The team has announced that Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator and former Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy has spoken with the team in New York:

The Kansas City Chiefs could be gearing up to lose their offensive coordinator to another AFC team. Chiefs OC Matt Nagy and assistant GM Mike Borgonzi are set to interview with the New York Jets on Wednesday for their head-coaching and general manager vacancies.

Gang Green had a busy Wednesday interviewing both general manager and coaching candidates for its vacant positions. In Palm Beach, Fla., the Jets interviewed Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy for their coaching role.

For some of those teams, that will involve finding new head coaches and/or General Managers. Three teams fired their head coaches during the season and two more have been dispatched as of 9 a.m. ET on January 6.
