With Kamala Harris headlining a top-dollar DNC fundraiser, the former vice president is wading further into the political spotlight after her 2024 election defeat.

"Some have even argued that leaving the race and endorsing your vice president, Vice President Harris, over a hundred days before the election hampered her campaign. What do you say to those critics?"

Wednesday night's speech is being billed as Harris' most extensive public remarks since leaving office in January, after her defeat in the presidential election.

The speech would be the former vice president's first major public remarks since losing the 2024 U.S. presidential election to Donald Trump.
