Julia Stiles made the claim on the Films to Be Buried podcast, saying it was producer Harvey Weinstein who insisted on a "needed" dance scene for her 2000 rom-com with Freddie Prinze, Jr., Down to You -- with Weinstein responding to her saying it made her feel "slimy" from prison.

Stiles added that her roles in the 2001 film Save the Last Dance and 1999's 10 Things I Hate About You (in which she memorably danced on top of a pool table) meant that Weinstein wanted the actress to dance in Down to You — with those scenes filmed in re-shoots.
