House Speaker Dustin Burrows has issued civil arrest warrants for the absent members found to be in Texas. None has been executed to date.

With the Democratic quorum break entering its second week, House Speaker Dustin Burrows said Monday that troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety have been dispatched statewide to stake out the homes of the absent members in the effort to return them to the Capitol.

The battle over mid-decade redistricting in Texas -- where the state’s congressional lines could be redrawn well ahead of the upcoming census -- continues Monday.
