An outage at Cloudflare led to several leading applications, such as Google Cloud, Discord, Spotify, Twitch, Firebase, Cursor, etc. partially shutting down. This is a developing story.

Google’s first public update to its status page came well after a message from Replit CEO Amjad Masad at 2:34PM ET, when he tweeted, “Google cloud is having an outage and that’s taking Replit down. We’re working with them to bring it back up ASAP.”

Seemingly, and according to Cloudflare, Google Cloud services were the primary, or at least a significant portion of the issue that caused other services to go down today, June 12, 2025. That includes Spotify and other Google services, such as G Suite and Workspace, as well as Discord and Snapchat.
