Taron Egerton and Dennis Lehane re-team for another satisfying true crime series with the arson thriller on Apple TV+.

Taron Egerton has spoken about the "disturbing" true story behind his new Apple TV+ series Smoke. The Tetris and Carry-On actor leads the new nine-part crime series, as a fireman-turned-investigator trying to stop two serial arsonists operating in the Pacific Northwest.

On their trail we find the arson investigator Dave Gudsen (Taron Egerton) and Det. Michell Calderon (Jurnee Smollett). The nine-episode series co-stars John Leguizamo and Greg Kinnear. It's based on the podcast "Firebug," about the real-life arsonist John Leonard Orr.
