At least one person was critically injured Saturday in a shooting at a protest against President Donald Trump in Salt Lake City. It came hours after two Democratic lawmakers in Minnesota were shot dead by a gunman.

Police continue their manhunt for 57-year-old Vance Boelter, the suspect in the shootings of two Minnesota state lawmakers and their spouses, which left one of the couples dead. Follow for live updates.

Officers were initially dispatched to the 6500 block of Routt Street regarding a call about a shooting. Police ended up in the backyard of a residence in the 3000 block of Forest Ave. and found the man suffering from “gunshot wounds to his upper body/torso,” a news release from the department said.
