Mast was traded to Chicago along with a seventh-round pick in exchange for the rights to Victor Soderstrom, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Mast signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Bruins on Monday. Mast was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and quickly put pen to paper on his entry-level deal.

Ryan Mast was chosen by Boston with the 181st overall pick in the sixth round of the 2021 NHL Draft. The team signed Mast to a three-year, entry-level contract worth $2.635 million on July 18, 2022.
