The cast of Dexter is returning for another spinoff series!

Serial killer Dexter Morgan (played by Michael C Hall) wakes up in hospital from a 10-week coma in the debut episode after his son Harrison shot him in New Blood’s finale. But when he comes face-to-face with Detective Angel Batista (David Zayas), Dexter makes a run for it and heads to New York to hide.

In the opening episode, serial killer Dexter Morgan (portrayed by Michael C Hall) emerges from a 10-week coma in a hospital bed, having been shot by his son Harrison in the climax of New Blood. However, upon encountering Detective Angel Batista (David Zayas), Dexter bolts and makes his way to New York to lay low.
