LSU secured their spot Sunday night when it swept West Virginia in the Baton Rouge Super Regional. LSU will play Arkansas at 6 p.m. in Omaha.

LSU will play for its eighth national title. It previously won in 1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2009 and 2023. Coastal Carolina won its only title in 2016.

Anderson walked five, a career high, but the LSU star continually responded to work out of jams. Anderson's first start in Omaha was in LSU's CWS opener vs. Arkansas last Saturday.
