Freese replaced the late Taylor Hawkins in 2023 and joined the band on the road for their Everything Or Nothing At All Tour.

Before taking up the mantle left by Taylor Hawkins’ tragic and sudden passing in 2022, Freese spent his decades-long career drumming with everyone from The Zappas, The Vandals and Devo to Guns N’ Roses, Sting, Nine Inch Nails and Weezer.

The move ends Freese’s two-year tenure with the group, after he was drafted in to replace the late Taylor Hawkins
