Hoffman, DFL-Champlin, and his wife, Yvette, were shot multiple times in their home on June 14 by a man posing as a police officer. The couple’s daughter, Hope, was credited with helping save her parents’ lives and alerting law enforcement that other may be in danger.

The second annual Guns and Hoses event is being held to raise money for police officers, firefighters and paramedics across the state, including those who responded to the shootings that wounded Sen.
